The mud we were

The Valleseco Auditorium presents "The Mud We Were", a play that takes the ending of Antigone as a starting point to build a contemporary parable about power, climate change, and collective responsibility. Through the characters of the King and his Jester—universal symbols of theatre—the story unfolds with absurd and critical tones to portray the downfall of a leader who disregards warnings and human values in favor of maintaining authority. This theatrical piece invites the audience to reflect on the present by blending classical language with the pressing issues of our time.
