At Teatro Víctor Jara – Casa de la Cultura Saro Bolaños, reVIVIRla takes the stage—a monologue performed by a single actress who brings multiple characters to life and, at key moments, also sings. This piece is an emotional account that revisits the 12-year struggle of Francisca de Pedraza, the woman who, in 1624, achieved what is considered the first court ruling against gender-based violence in Spanish history. Through her story, the play gives voice to many other women silenced by history, offering an intimate and moving theatrical experience.
