The Festivities of Las Marías in Guía de Gran Canaria, declared a Cultural Heritage of Interest, offer a rich variety of traditional and festive events. The celebration includes "Coplas a Las Marías," a gathering of soloists with the Agrupación Folclórica Estrella and Guía, and the Bajada de la Rama, where branches are carried and conch shells, war drums, and other traditional instruments are played. The Church’s entrance welcomes Our Lady of the Virgin of Guía. The Folkloric Festival of Las Marías will feature performances by Guayadeque, Teguaco, and Noroeste Guiense, as well as a procession of animals that will participate in the Romería. The festivities conclude with a Solemn Eucharist in honor of Santa María de Guía, followed by the Procession and the Romería, highlighting the deep cultural and religious traditions of the celebration.
