Canarian Popular Dance

The municipality of La Oliva will celebrate the main event of Canary Islands Day in the Public Square of Los Lajares, with a day dedicated to the traditions and popular culture of the archipelago. Organized by the Department of Culture, the event will feature the traditional Canarian Folk Dance, for which tables can be reserved in advance. Starting at 10:00 a.m., locals and visitors can enjoy workshops, a market, exhibitions, performances by folk groups, traditional parrandas, and popular music, all in a festive atmosphere that highlights Canarian identity.
