Suelta del Perro Maldito

The "Suelta del Perro Maldito" in Valsequillo is a unique festivity. This event revives an ancient Canarian tradition symbolizing the battle between Good and Evil, with the "Perro Maldito" representing the devil. During the celebration, a dialogue between a good angel and an evil angel precedes the appearance of the "Perro Maldito," a large red dog with horns that roams the streets cursing.
