Night diving with mice and angelfish in Risco Verde
The dive starts from a narrow rocky platform covered with green, red and brown algaes which are a delight to see. Then you go down several steps seeing as you go the varied if somewhat modest marine life, scorpion fish, comber fish, lizards, sea cucumbers and sea urchins. At a depth of 12 metres, the reef gives way to a sandy area frequented by redhead cichlid and ornate wrasse and at night mice and angel fish can be seen. And to finish off the day’s diving, there is nothing quite like a fresh fish dish in one of the many restaurants in Arinaga.
