Family excursion to Las Teresitas Beach Las Teresitas beach

Not far from the port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Las Teresitas Beach —on more than a kilometre of bright golden sand— has a breakwater that makes its waters an oasis of calm. The little ones can play safely on the shore while the adults leisurely enjoy the sun and swimming on a very special day trip with the family close to the port of call.

From the cruise liner to the beach for a family excursion

Las Teresitas provides cruise-goers arriving in the city with the charm of a lively, family beach much frequented by the locals too. There they enjoy the broad length of golden sand, doing sports, swimming in the calm water, sunbathing or simply watching time go by under the shade of the slender palm trees. The beach has all kinds of services and several "chiringuitos" (beach bars). It also has a lifeguard team to watch over the safety of users, and lots of free parking.

Sostenibilidad
- Never leave waste of any type lying around, including cigarette butts. Leftover food leads to a proliferation of rats and wild cats, which pose a serious threat to the fauna.
- Use the waste- paper baskets and, insofar as possible, separate and place your recycling waste in the appropriate containers.
- Do not throw any waste or other objects into the sea.
- Respect the animals. Do not bother them or feed them. If you see an injured specimen, you can call the emergency number: 112. Do not pick flowers or plants.
- Do not pick up or take away stones or any other item from the natural environment. And do not move them to pile them up into sadly famous 'towers'.
- In natural spaces and at viewpoints, do not leave the trail or the spaces designated for people to be in.
- Respect and look after the area's historic and cultural heritage, along with the public furniture and items for visitors, such as information panels or telescopes and binoculars.
