Swimming amongst volcanic rocks and strolling along beside the sea with your family

A short car-drive of less than 30 minutes is enough to take you from Puerto de La Estaca to the area of natural pools in La Maceta at the coast in the spectacular El Golfo Valley. This bathing area combines sun, lava and sea comfortably and pleasantly, protected from the waves. Perfect for all ages. Furthermore, it has lots of parking and services such as showers and sunshades and also a bar service
Walk to the smallest hotel in the world
A perfectly adapted and signposted trail starts in La Maceta, running along over a wooden boardwalk with benches and little viewing points from which you can contemplate the magnificent scenery afforded by this island where the sea crashes and the Salmor Rocks can be seen. At the end of the trail (which is about 2 km long), the visitor comes across a pretty building containing what was considered the smallest hotel in the world.

Sostenibilidad
- Never leave waste of any type lying around, including cigarette butts. Leftover food leads to a proliferation of rats and wild cats, which pose a serious threat to the fauna.
- Use the waste- paper baskets and, insofar as possible, separate and place your recycling waste in the appropriate containers.
- Do not throw any waste or other objects into the sea.
- Respect the animals. Do not bother them or feed them. If you see an injured specimen, you can call the emergency number: 112. Do not pick flowers or plants.
- Do not pick up or take away stones or any other item from the natural environment. And do not move them to pile them up into sadly famous 'towers'.
- In natural spaces and at viewpoints, do not leave the trail or the spaces designated for people to be in.
- Respect and look after the area's historic and cultural heritage, along with the public furniture and items for visitors, such as information panels or telescopes and binoculars.
