Playa de Radazul

Swim and enjoy views of the Güímar Valley at the same time

Radazul beach, also known as Litoral del Rosario beach, is known for having the best panoramic view of the lush Güímar Valley. Just 8 kilometres from Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and 16 kilometres from Tenerife North Airport, it’s a relatively quiet beach when compared with others in the surrounding area. For those looking for a quiet place to relax, this spot has transparent waters and is ideal for swims. Access is available either from the shore, or via some stairs located on the breakwater that protects the beach.

Irresistible transparent waters

There is no lover of diving, swimming, or snorkeling who can resist the crystal clear waters and the low waves of Radazul. For those that prefer to stay out of the water there is also a seafront with a playground, changing rooms, and sunbathing spots. For something to eat, there are restaurants along the marina promenade. In the same promenade, beach access is available for people with reduced mobility. Lots of parking in the nearby areas and the urban bus means visitors and locals find it easy to get to this Eden of black sand.

Sustainability
Sostenibilidad
- Never leave waste of any type lying around, including cigarette butts. Leftover food leads to a proliferation of rats and wild cats.
- Do not throw any waste or other objects into the sea.
- Respect the animals. Do not bother them or feed them. If you see an injured specimen, you can call the emergency number: 112. Do not pick flowers or plants from the environment.
- Do not pick up or take away stones or any other item from the natural environment. And do not move them to pile them up into sadly famous 'towers'.
- Do not use soap or gel in the showers located at the entrance to the beach.
- Try to use ocean- friendly sun creams.
- Pets are prohibited at most beaches. Make sure you can take them beforehand.
- Try not to alter the peace of the environment with excessive noise (loud music, yelling, etc.) or activities that might be bothersome, such as ball games.
