Museo Etnográfico de las Casas Cuevas de Artenara

A World Heritage landscape

The landscape of Risco Caído and the Sacred Mountains of Gran Canaria was declared a World Heritage Site on July 7, 2019. Artenara is within the limits of this landscape, lying on a section of the Barranco Hondo riverbed. The location can be reached by car, and there is free parking. Entrance to the museum is also free, although visitors are asked to tip the guides and book their trips in advance. 50% of the spot is accessible for people with reduced mobility, and there are quite a few restaurants in the municipality.
