Handcrafted malvasia wines
La Florida Winery, located in San Bartolomé in the centre of Lanzarote, uses entirely artisan methods to produce its wines, from the planting to the picking of the grapes. Volcanic malvasia, the grape variety predominantly used at the winery, is characterised by how well it adapts to the surroundings, its small size and the flavour and balance it lends to the wines, which are mainly white.
Traditional Lanzarote architecture
Visitors will find a gourmet shop where they can purchase delicious local produce, such as salt, sauces (“mojos”) and jams, in addition to guidebooks on wine and hiking. The winery with its traditional Lanzarote architecture has a garden where different kinds of events can be held, overlooked by one of the oldest dragon trees in Canary Islands at 270 years of age. All in an exclusive, volcanic setting.
