Fontanales - Garañón | Hello Canary Islands

Starting in Fontanales and ending in the forest of Garañon this route takes you through some amazing trail scenery. The two long climbs up to Cruz de Tejeda and Roque Nublo and through the Roque Nublo area are the highlights of this.

From Fontanales the route heads towards Valleseco and continuous up and down through lush ravines on technical trails until arriving at Teror. Then the route continues to Cruz de Tejeda through a long climb to Talayón . From Cruz de Tejeda , the route continues in a beautiful descent down to Tejeda, reaching La Culata where a tough climb to Roque Nublo begins. From this point the route continues on technical trails and technical descents surrounded by pine trees and beautiful scenery ending in La Garañon.

This is a beautiful and amazing part of the Transgrancanaria trail. It is very technical in the ascents and in the descents.
