Waves of up to three metres high in Lanzarote
In the north of Lanzarote we find the Jameos del Agua kitesurfing spot in the middle of a most impressive volcanic landscape. This spot is only recommended for experienced kitesurfers and although it can be enjoyed all year round, it is in spring and summer that conditions are optimum for kitesurfing. The winds in this spot blow in a NE direction, forming a long fast left hand wave, hollow at some points and which can reach up to three metres in height.
A kitesurfing spot for more experienced levels
It has to be remembered that entry and exit to and from this spot is somewhat complicated, especially at high tide, so it is a recommended spot for those with an advanced level. As it is located under the Jameos del Agua tourist centre, cars can be parked in the car park if the direct access from the road to the beach is closed.
