Descripción del evento

The exhibition "Óscar Domínguez: Two that intersect" at TEA Tenerife Espacio de las Artes, curated by Isidro Hernández, will be on exhibit until 24 November. Standing out as an essential part of the international surrealist movement alongside Joan Miró and Salvador Dalí, Óscar Domínguez left a significant artistic legacy in the 20th century. His painting, defined by the free creation of the surrealist spirit, offers a singular openness of thought, exploring new possibilities within reality. With a dreamlike and visionary aesthetic, his work is renowned for its inventiveness and the creation of unsettling dream-like realities. This exhibition offers a unique insight into Domínguez's poetic world, rooted in his youth in the north of Tenerife and marked by an irrational and overabundant conception of colour and metamorphosis.
