The Orchestra Jazz Siciliana (OJS) is one of the most prestigious big bands in Europe, acclaimed for its outstanding performances and its key role in promoting jazz. Founded in 1973 in Palermo by maestro Ignazio Garsia, the OJS was created with the mission of establishing a stable platform for the development of jazz in Sicily.
