Dolls and Goats

Dolls and Goats, by artist Zrinka Užbinec, is a powerful and intimate stage proposal presented at Teatro Leal as a choreographic exploration. Inspired by the libretto of the ballet Coppélia, the performance unfolds as a manifesto on the relationship between tenderness and violence, with the body—sometimes doll-like, sometimes not—becoming the center of a fragmented, poetic, and raw narrative. The piece engages with the research project “Where Do We Go When the Glass Breaks?” and offers a reimagining of movement through the lens of bodily experience and the sensory memory of the skin.
