Romería del Poleo El Amparo

Hundreds of pilgrims leave in August to mount Icod de los Vinos with the intention of collecting poleo leaves. Together with the Orquesta del Poleo, the pilgrims dance and sing in search of the leaves, with which they then decorate the streets of the Amparo district during the festivities.
