Romería de los Dolores

In the pilgrimage of Sorrows the devotees go to the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Sorrows in Mancha Blanca, Tinajo. On this day faithful arrive from all over the island and the rest of the archipelago. The people of Lanzarote with this gesture want to continue thanking Our Lady of Sorrows for the miracle of stopping the mantle of lava that threatened hovered over the towns of Mancha Blanca and Tinajo.
