The Gran Canaria Philharmonic Orchestra welcomes you and encourages you to meet us in the following sections. Heir to a tradition that dates back to 1845, the current Philharmonic Orchestra of Gran Canaria (OFGC) arises under the protection of the public foundation created by the Cabildo of Gran Canaria in 1980. Since then, his musical activity has materialized mainly in a symphonic season, numerous participations in the main musical and cultural events of the island, as well as his own educational project that includes training and concerts in schools and families.
