Los diabletes de Teguise

Every carnival, the Villa de Teguise proudly displays its famous devils from Teguise. The devils are figures dressed in white pants and camisole, painted with rhombuses formed by black and red stripes.

Above the clothes they show leather straps with rattles and bells made of wood and brass. The face is covered with a striking mask and two horns. In addition, the devils of Teguise carry a stick with a bag, which is used to scare the
attendees and onlookers.
