‘Las playas vacías’ (Empty Beaches) merges the music of Ernesto Mateo with the texts of Pino Betancor in a piece that reflects on loneliness and destiny. The production by Teatro Pérez Galdós establishes a parallelism between the two Canary Islands artists, exploring universal themes through music, theatre and poetry. Betancor, renowned for her focus on love and social commitment and Mateo, awarded for his excellence in music, collaborate to create a unique experience. With piano, violin and cello, the piece immerses the audience in the landscape of the Canary Islands beaches and the essence of humanity.
