Archaeology under the Sand Conference

The “Archaeology under the Sand” Conference highlights the site of La Peña de las Cucharas–Fiquinineo as one of the most significant heritage enclaves in Lanzarote and the Canary Islands. This site, with a continuous track record of research and dissemination since 2009, has provided key insights into the final stage of the majos, the occupation following the Norman conquest, and the changes in use up to the 17th century.
