Romería and Baile de Magos of El Socorro

As part of the Fiestas del Socorro, the municipality of Breña Baja celebrates its traditional Romería Típica, a festive gathering that follows the Tonolero path from the town center of San Antonio. With performances by folk groups such as Bailarines del Norte (El Hierro), Alfaguara, and Breñas Marjué, the event honors Canarian roots through music, dance, and popular devotion.
The celebration concludes with an offering to the Virgin, followed by a performance by Son Aldea and the much-anticipated Baile de Magos, featuring the orchestras Tropicana’s (La Palma) and Joven Sensación (La Gomera). A celebration that blends tradition and joy in a lively, community setting.
