The Day of the Entrance of the Virgin of Las Nieves is one of the most solemn and emotional moments of the Bajada de la Virgen in Santa Cruz de La Palma. The day begins with the Diana Floreada, announcing the grand occasion with music and celebration. Next, the Procession of the Royal Banner marks the official start of the route, followed by the Triumphal Entrance Procession, in which the image of the Virgin is welcomed with great devotion in the city. One of the most emblematic acts is the Dialogue between the Castle and the Ship, a symbolic representation that enriches the tradition. Later, the Welcome Ode is performed as a poetic tribute to the Virgin, and the day concludes with the Solemn Pontifical Eucharist, a deeply significant liturgical event for the community.
