The Poet and the Englishwomen

"The Poet and the Englishwomen", at the Sala Insular de Teatro in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, is a stage production commemorating the centenary of Alonso Quesada. Directed by Mónica Lleó and performed alongside Pepe Batista, with live timple music by Sofía Pérez Saavedra, the play evokes the poet’s relationship with the British colony in the city.
