The King’s Light

The Necropolis of Arteara hosts the experience "The King’s Light", an initiative that invites visitors to discover one of the most important archaeological sites of the pre-Hispanic Canary Islands. During the guided tour of this funerary complex, participants can learn about its historical, cultural and landscape value. One of the most remarkable moments occurs at the sunrise of the spring equinox, when the first rays of the sun shine directly on the so-called “King’s Tumulus".
