15 May to 6 June
The A. Janina Hall at the Teatro Víctor Jara hosts "The Colors of the Ocean", an evocative exhibition of contemporary mosaics by Italian artist Viviana Selvaggio, who resides in Pozo Izquierdo. This exhibition is the result of an artistic process deeply connected to the marine environment, where the ocean, salt, wind, and the light of southern Gran Canaria serve as both raw material and inspiration. Each piece reflects a profound bond with coastal nature, conveyed through fragments of color that evoke the movement of water, the sun’s reflections on the waves, and the textures of seascapes. With a delicate and meticulous visual approach, Selvaggio transforms everyday materials into compositions that invite contemplation and silence.
