Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria in concert

The Gran Canaria Philharmonic Orchestra performs at the 42nd International Canary Islands Music Festival under the direction of its principal conductor, Karel Mark Chichon, in a concert paying tribute to Manuel de Falla and Maurice Ravel on the 150th anniversary of their birth. With a history dating back to 1845 and institutional consolidation since 1980, the OFGC has become a leading force in the musical life of the Canary Islands.
