The Oleaje Bodyboard Contest turns Playa de San Andrés in Arucas into the epicenter of bodyboarding in the Canary Islands, offering an event that blends excitement, sport, and competitive spirit. This competition, part of the 100% Bodyboard League, the FESurfing Junior League, and the Canarian Absolute and Promising Circuit, brings together participants of all ages and styles in categories such as Sub12, Sub14, Sub16, Sub18, Open, Women, Dropknee, and Master. With €2,000 in prizes and sports gear raffles, the event promises a weekend full of adrenaline and waves. Organized by the Oleaje Surfing Club along with regional and local institutions, the contest establishes Arucas as a key destination for bodyboarding in the archipelago.
