Negrín, the opera

At the Pérez Galdós Theatre, Negrín, the opera offers an intimate and artistic portrayal of the final months in the life of Juan Negrín, set in his Paris apartment alongside his grandchildren and his partner Feli. Through everyday conversations, key episodes from his political, scientific, and personal journey are evoked — from archaeological expeditions in Gran Canaria and his work at the Residencia de Estudiantes, to the moral dilemmas of war, exile, and his involvement in international institutions.
