Naval Festivities

The Naval Festivities in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria are presented as one of the city’s oldest and most significant celebrations, held in honor of Our Lady of La Luz, the general patroness of the Port and perpetual mayoress of the capital. Over the course of several weeks, religious tradition intertwines with popular, cultural, sporting, and festive events that reflect the identity of the Puerto and La Isleta neighborhoods.
