Gran Canaria´s Women Band in concert

The Gran Canaria's Women Band celebrates its ninth anniversary with an extraordinary concert at the Auditorio Alfredo Kraus, where more than sixty female musicians will share the stage with the women's choir Donna Voce, the Academy of Artistic Teachings of Alexia Rodríguez, and the renowned international singer Soraya Arnelas. Under the direction of its founder, Pilar Rodríguez, the first part will feature a symphonic repertoire, including the Concerto for Solo Tuba, performed by Eliany Vallejo, along with pieces by composers specialized in symphonic band music. In the second part, Soraya Arnelas will join the band for a journey through her greatest hits, with exclusive new arrangements created by Elisa Cancio for this special occasion.
