13 May to 21 June
The Patron Saint Festivities of Montaña de Cardones are a deeply rooted celebration that blends religious tradition, popular culture, and community participation. Dedicated to San Isidro Labrador and Santa María de la Cabeza, the festivities include liturgical acts such as processions, rosaries, and Eucharistic celebrations, along with an extensive civic and festive program. Highlights include the romería (pilgrimage parade), street parties, concerts, galas, children's activities, traditional games, craft fairs, painting contests, parades with giant puppets (papagüevos), and comedy and drag performances. These festivities transform every corner of the town into a space for gathering, community spirit, and celebration of shared identity.
