El Carmen Festivities in El Hornillo

The Fiestas del Carmen in El Hornillo are a popular celebration that brings life and tradition to this neighborhood of Teror over several days in July. The festivities begin with a proclamation by local resident Dolores Romero Trujillo and a concert by singer-songwriter Bry-M, extending until July 20 with a full program that combines religious events, music, children's games, and cultural activities.
Highlights include the children’s party with batucada, the Solajero open-air dance, the folk gathering in honor of the Virgen del Carmen, and the final procession with fireworks.
