Firgas Big Band Festival

The FIRGAS BIG BAND FESTIVAL is an event focused on the music of Big Band in which different activities are developed joining different groups of the islands and the national territory, along with artists who will offer a concertmeeting on 29 April at the emblematic Plaza de San Roque in Firgas. In this way the quality of the Canary groups and the movement of these groups in Spain is valued. Attracting public from other places and trying to promote cultural events in rural areas; in the same way the tourism of the island is encouraged to more diverse places and publicizing the midlands of the island of Gran Canaria, under a cultural point of view and with a high musical potential as is the Villa de Firgas.
