"A festival in which the 'word,' a fundamental element of our culture, takes centre stage and embraces the artist.
The Festival will take place from 27 September to 1 October in different venues in the Santo Domingo suburb (the Casa de La Cultura, Plaza Baltasar Martín and Plaza Ismael Fernández Hernández) with a diverse programme to attract audiences of all ages.
The activities for this edition will include the usual book presentations; the Lucha Libro literary improvisation championship; story telling; poetry sunset with open microphone and the “Memories of our town” section, a popular meeting to discuss and reminisce on anecdotes about the town.
