San Esteban Festivities

El Pinar celebrates San Esteban Festivities after more than fifty years, driven by the initiative of the residents of El Gusano. The event features a dessert contest in the San Esteban square, a procession with the image of the saint to the parish of San Antonio Abad and a mass in his honor, followed by his return to El Gusano. After these acts, a collective toast is shared along with food contributed by the attendees, and the day concludes with a daytime dance enlivened by live music, in an atmosphere of tradition and community fellowship.
