Proud of who we are Festival

During the 2025 Canary Islands Month, the island of El Hierro joins the celebration with activities that promote its culture, traditions, and natural environment. Events take place mainly in the municipalities of Valverde, La Frontera, and El Pinar, and include educational concerts by Los Sabandeños, traditional “bailes de magos,” stargazing sessions, solar workshops, and exhibitions. Additionally, gatherings of native games and sports such as bola canaria, calabazo, and pelota mano reinforce the island’s identity and encourage participation across generations in a festive, community-centered atmosphere.
