Events in Honor of Virgen de Los Reyes

To mark the 71st Bajada de la Virgen de Los Reyes, the Island Council of El Hierro has launched an extensive cultural program that transforms the month of July into a celebration of identity, tradition, and artistic expression. Among the highlights are concerts by artists such as Rozalén and bagpiper Hevia, along with performances featuring both local and national talent. The program also includes galas, tributes, folk festivals, craft fairs, workshops, theater, gastronomy, and an emotional closing with a theater mapping show. These activities, running from April to the end of July, strengthen the island's intergenerational connection to its cultural heritage, offering accessible and diverse experiences for all audiences in a fusion of devotion, art, and collective memory.
