El Hierro Island Triatlon

El Hierro Island Triatlon event is held in the municipality of Valverde, organized by the Cabildo of El Hierro, the Valverde Town Council, and the Canary Islands Triathlon Federation (FECANTRI). This sporting event features several competitions, including the Canary Islands Super Sprint Triathlon Championship—both individual absolute and by clubs—the Island Super Sprint Triathlon Championship, as well as the Canary Islands Relay Championship (3×3) and aquathlons for both adults and children. Open to both licensed triathletes and non-licensed participants (with a one-day insurance), the event blends high-level competition with broad participation, establishing itself as a key date in the Canary Islands’ sports calendar
