Route

From the magical spot of Chorros de Epina, surrounded by legends and freshness, begins a cycling route that blends adventure, history, and nature. The path crosses juniper forests and landscapes shaped by millions of years of volcanism, such as the curious Liesegang rings, the great Tazo landslide, or the colorful ridges of Chijeré. Every stretch reveals the mark of time and those who once lived here. The route leads to hidden hermitages like Santa Clara, viewpoints hanging above the Atlantic, and hamlets full of authentic charm like Tazo, considered the largest palm grove in the Canaries, or Alojera, the birthplace of palm honey. Further on, the path opens towards Taguluche, a secret valley protected by cliffs, where silence and the ocean define an endless horizon. Whether you choose the short route to Punta de Alcalá or the longer itinerary linking villages and palm groves, this MTB and gravel trail is a journey through the most unique and wild landscapes of northern La Gomera, where every pedal stroke connects you to the deep essence of the island.
