A circular route from Bañaderos to Roque Nublo
This circular bike route which penetrates the very core of Gran Canaria starts on the north coast of the island, in Bañaderos, where you can leave your car in order to make the descent to banana groves, orchards and hamlets which give way to Los Tilos ravine. The winding roads lead to the town of Fontanales, the centenary pine trees in Galdar and then on to the viewpoint at La Cruz de Tejeda, an ideal spot to have a rest before taking on the central loop which leads to the emblematic Roque Nublo.
Descent to Tejeda in the heart of Gran Canaria
A quick descent leads to the town of Tejeda, in the heart of Gran Canaria, a world of impressive rock walls captained by Roque Bentayga, followed by the walls of El Aserrador, continuous slopes in the midst of almond trees which go from Ayacata to the foot of Roque Nuble, the natural symbol of the island. The return to La Cruz de Tejeda along the plains of La Pez is easier. To contemplate this magnificent landscape puzzle which ends in Bañaderos, just take the road though Valleseco and Arucas.More information
