Actually comprised of five beaches (La Barca, Risco del Paso, Mirador, Malnombre and Los Canarios), which can be visited without interruption at low tide. Matorral Beach, also popularly known as La Solana or Saladar de Jandía Beach, is located on the coast of the Jandía peninsula and in one of the most touristy areas of Fuerteventura, the town of Morro Jable, municipality of Pájara. Matorral Beach is four kilometers long and is bordered by a huge avenue with shops, leisure centers and restaurants, as well as Saladar de Jandía, a Site of Scientific Interest to conserve a type of vegetation that is very scarce in the Canary Islands, resistant to salt water. This area is properly protected by a fence and access to the beach is via footbridges over this protected natural area.

One of the wildest, least developed and largest beaches in the Canary Islands, which exhausts all adjectives. Located in the north of the Jandia peninsula, in the south of Fuerteventura, Cofete is a visual gift of endless blond sand, rough ocean and a total feeling of freedom. Its 12 kilometers, the scarce presence of houses, the absence of paved roads and the suitability of visiting it by 4x4 say a lot about its characteristics. The term “virgin” was simply invented for these beaches.

Its paradisiacal shore invites you to quietly stroll along it, with impressive views of a coast full of ochre mountains, softened by erosion. Protected from the wind by several hotels and apartments, if the visitor decides to rest in one of the resorts to spend his or her holidays, just a few steps over the soft sand he or she can get out of the pool and dive into the sea.

Very close to the tourist center of Corralejo, in the northeast of the island of Fuerteventura, lie the internationally known Great Beaches of Corralejo, nine kilometers of paradisiacal beaches bordered by the Corralejo Dunes, the largest in the Canary Islands. A place where turquoise waters caress a coast covered by jable sand, a type of white sand formed naturally from the erosion of sea shells. With great exfoliating properties for the skin, the jable turns these beaches into an authentic spa of nature with a view to the islands of Lobos and Lanzarote.

And its proximity to the village provides the opportunity to enjoy, on a terrace overlooking the sea, a majestic sunset where the sky changes from ochre to violet in a matter of minutes.

It is worth taking a boat to reach, in just 15 minutes, this small paradisal island and enjoy an unforgettable day at La Concha, the best beach on the island, with white sand as well as calm and transparent waters. But we can also take a dip in the natural pools of El Puertito, which are crystal blue and breathtakingly beautiful.
