Gloria in Tenerife

Zalatta Espacio Escénico presents "Gloria in Tenerife", a play that pays tribute to the multifaceted and contradictory figure of Gloria Fuertes. Through a poetic and theatrical narrative, the piece reconstructs the image of a woman defined by her unmistakable voice, her rebellious spirit, her verses for both children and adults, and a life shaped by light and shadow. In this story, Gloria has not yet fully come into being; she must find herself, confront her own shadow, and question the worth of the path she has taken. Like a deconstructed Dickens tale, the play reveals truths about life, death, and the impact we leave on others.
