Die Fledermaus: El Murciélago

The Tenerife Opera presents Die Fledermaus (The Bat) by Johann Strauss, in an unprecedented collaboration with the Canary Islands International Music Festival (FIMC). This extraordinary concert, co-produced with the Canary Foundation for the Auditorium and Theater of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, brings to the stage the renowned three-act operetta in a concert version. With a libretto by Carl Haffner and Richard Genée, based on Le réveillon by Meilhac and Halévy, the work combines romantic entanglements, seduction, and identity swaps, showcasing the humor and wit of the Austrian composer.
