David Rees

David Rees, of British descent but born in Malaga, Spain, found his way into music through YouTube after graduating as a psychologist in Salamanca. He began his career by sharing cover videos performed with his ukulele on his channel, attracting a following that eventually reached 2.8 million.

However, it was his star video, 'De ellos aprendí', that catapulted him to stardom. In this video, he compiled all the lines from his favourite Disney films that he remembered from his childhood, achieving over 350 million views.

Amarillo' (2020, Warner Music) was the title chosen by Rees for his debut album. For him, the colour yellow is associated with joy, vitality, positivity and light. "When I started writing the songs for the album some time ago, I felt that they all shared that light, that magic, that something that I associate with yellow. Also, I like simple concepts that, with few words, convey a lot," she said.

In 2018, she released her first EP titled 'Ojos', which included three songs.
