Dactah Chando

Dactah Chando represents one of the most outstanding and prolific names in the field of reggae in Spanish in the Canary Islands.
He is internationally recognised as the leading exponent of Canarian reggae at the present time. This is due not only to his undeniable musical quality, backed by collaborations with leading producers such as Umberto Echo, Roberto Sánchez, Guido Craveiro and Rob Smith, but also to his distinctive musical and lyrical style.
His music transcends the barriers of the Spanish language and his native island, Tenerife, where he currently resides and operates from his label Achinech Productions, which he runs. Dactah Chando is distinguished by his commitment to both his art and his culture, expressing in his works a poetic, literary, philosophical and historical content that seeks to convey a message of integration, solidarity and equality to the world through music.
