Claudette

The Claudette show, by Maleta Company (Ireland) and Cie Balancetoi (Belgium), takes the stage as part of the Circo a Escena 2025 circuit, blending juggling and puppetry in a heartfelt tribute to our grandmothers. Through a humorous and poetic approach, the play honors a generation of women who, after dedicating their lives to others, find themselves in solitude. It also tenderly captures those playful and heartfelt moments shared between grandparents and grandchildren. Performed by Sara Martínez Lázaro, who won the Best Performance Award at the Valladolid International Festival of Street Theater and Arts, this piece also received the Best Show from the Rest of the World Award at Umore Azoka 2024.
