Bach-Transcriptions and fragments

The Auditorio de Tenerife presents a matinee from its organ concert series featuring organist Arno Hartmann, titled Bach-Transcriptions and Fragments. This recital exclusively includes works by Johann Sebastian Bach, both original compositions and transcriptions by other notable composers. Hartmann will explore the rich tradition of organ transcriptions, highly popular in the 18th century, highlighting pieces such as Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme and Präludium und Fuge in C, along with the organ version of Schafe können sicher weiden, among others.
