The Festival of Performing Arts in Lanzarote presents Gibbon, a piece that challenges the conventions of dance by incorporating flying objects into the choreography. The work captures the tension between gravity and the interaction of bodies, combining the accelerated fall of objects with the slow, interlaced movement of arms and hands. Gibbon blurs the line between reality and fiction, continuously interrupting the creative process in a spiral of confusion filled with direct and disconcerting humor. Patfield & Triguero, nominated for the Total Theatre Award at the Edinburgh Fringe, deliver a unique experience supported by institutions like the Arts Council and various artistic centers.
